An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a growing construction business delivering projects across the UK.
The successful Site Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. As a Site Manager, you will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers and clients, maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day running of construction sites from start through to completion.
- Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with project specifications.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel to maintain programme deadlines.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects and clients throughout project delivery.
- Monitor project progress and report on programme, quality and costs.
- Ensure all work complies with current health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Carry out regular site inspections, quality checks and audits.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays.
- Deliver toolbox talks and promote a strong health & safety culture on site.
- Manage labour, plant, equipment and materials efficiently.
- Maintain accurate site records including daily diaries, progress reports and incident reports.
- Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or similar within the construction industry.
- Proven experience successfully delivering construction projects.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise effectively.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and industry regulations.
- SMSTS.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- EUSR SHEA Power or valid CSCS Card.
- IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working on petrol forecourt projects.
- Emergency First Aid at Work qualification.
