Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for your next opportunity with an ambitious and growing property and construction business?

We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join a well-established developer delivering high-quality developments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of residential projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of your development, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest possible quality standards.

You will work closely with the wider project team, subcontractors, suppliers and senior management to ensure smooth delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site

  • Manage subcontractors, site operatives and suppliers effectively

  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards

  • Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance

  • Monitor programme progress and identify potential delays or issues

  • Coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure efficient site progression

  • Carry out regular site inspections and quality checks

  • Manage materials, deliveries and site logistics

  • Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team

  • Ensure construction works comply with drawings, specifications and building regulations

  • Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation

  • Support the successful handover and completion of projects

  • Provide leadership and direction to the site team

About You

The ideal Site Manager will have:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor 

  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing and site operations

  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades

  • Excellent understanding of health & safety requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills

  • Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and competing priorities

  • A strong eye for quality and attention to detail

  • SMSTS

  • CSCS

  • First Aid

  • Relevant construction qualifications are desirable
